Local MP visits community care home
3rd August 2010
James was at Halas Homes in Halesowen recently – to lend his support to the longstanding pillar of the local community. James spoke to the Chief Executive and staff – before going on a tour of the facilities. Halas Homes is a charity providing high quality residential care and supported living for adults with a learning disability. Halas has been providing services since the 1960’s and has recently developed daytime activities on site at ‘The Meeting Place’. The specialist knowledge Halas Homes has of their residents is unique and continuing to support them is vital for these vulnerable people. James Morris said: “Halas Homes and other similar care homes in Halesowen and Rowley Regis are vital to the local area. In these tough times I am keen to offer my full support to organisations who look after the most vulnerable people in the community”.
