Halesowen & Rowley Regis MP James Morris has welcomed the first patients to the newly-reopened Eliza Tinsley ward at Rowley Regis Hospital, nearly three and a half years after the old ward closed its doors.
The new ward is providing care for - mainly elderly - patients who are medically fit to be discharged from hospital but who are not yet well enough to return home. read more »

The second annual Halesowen & Rowley Regis Jobs Fair has received a massive boost with confirmation that Tesco will be using the event to recruit for their new superstore in Stourbridge.
The Jobs Fair, which is being organised by Halesowen & Rowley Regis Member of Parliament James Morris, will be held on Thursday 26th September at the Cradley Heath Salvation Army in Meredith Street. read more »

Local MP James Morris is calling on jobseekers in the area to join him for the second Halesowen & Rowley Regis Jobs Fair as part of his crusade to help local people into work.
The event will be held from 11am-3pm on Thursday 26th September at the Salvation Army building in Cradley Heath and aims to bring people who are looking for a job together with employers who have vacancies on offer.
It follows on from last summer’s Jobs Fair at St Michael’s High School in Rowley, which was one of the largest events of its kind in the area and attracted more than 700 people. read more »

James is teaming up with the Lion Farm Action Centre and Sandwell Employment Network to holding a special Help into Employment event for people in Rowley at the Brickhouse Community Centre between 11am and 3pm today.
There will be a number of different organisations there with local vacancy listings and people who can advise on how to get any training that you may need to find the work that you want.
