MP quizzed by local students
28th June 2011
James Morris, MP for Halesowen and Rowley Regis, took part in a Q&A session with Halesowen students as part of his ongoing series of ‘one stop shops’ for young people.
The students asked James a number of questions, on issues such as electoral reform and the role of the trade unions. James also talked about his role as a Member of Parliament prior to speaking with students individually.
James is committed to helping young people and in around Halesowen and Rowley Regis, part of which involves holding one stop shops. Following the success of this one stop shop at Halesowen College, he plans to hold further events around the constituency at other schools and colleges. Details of the next one will be announced in due course.
James Morris commented: “I am committed to making myself as available to young people as possible. It was a privilege to chat with the students of Halesowen College and I look forward to holding similar events in the future”.
